Dept. CDR's Update (May 3rd)

This week shoutout goes to everyone who was elected or re-elected to district level offices across the Legion Family, thank you for stepping up to serve.

I also have to challenge everyone on the Department Legislative Committee to follow suit, as I was named the Legislative Legionnaire of the week for May 1st. This is the 5th time I've had this honor bestowed on me and I urge others to do the same thing.

Membership

We can't seem to be able to break into the 92% range, and our renewals are way down. We've got to dig deep now and push renewals, recruit new members and work our Post 2000 list and try and get those sitting in a holding Post into yours and get them active. Sitting idle hoping someone else will do it, isn't cutting it, our organization is declining and it's up to all of us to change that.
