This week's shoutout goes to the Department Legion Riders for pulling off the first successful Be The One Mid-South Roundup, we'll only have greater success from here. The second shoutout goes to Jared Melton for his efforts in putting the Be The One mission at the top of the Riders agenda and for his continued leadership, keep up the great work.
We also welcomed National Legion Riders Chairman David Heredia, which will help put this annual roundup on the map. Welcome Chairman Heredia!

Weekly Schedule
May 22nd: Sullivan County Memorial Day
Membership
I speak about membership multiple times a week, our department made every goal through 85% and barely fell shy of 90%. We're now ticking up slowly, but with warm weather here and the fact we're at 92.78% putting us 7.22% shy of 100%, let's get the summer started right. What I'm asking for is simple, over the next 42 days, the remaining time I have as Department Commander, I ask everyone to push membership so that when the Senior Vice Commander is elected and sworn in as Commander, she'll have a small army to work with.
Voter Voice
We finished the week in 1st place, let's keep pushing and do it again.

Boys State
Boys State registration deadline is May 19th, we still have dozens of openings, taker advantage now.
