This week's shoutout goes to every member of the Legion Family who day after day do the right thing to make this organization go.

That said, this week's update will be very lean, just like last week's, but that doesn't mean I don't have a lot to say, it's just that I don't say everything all at once. In reality, I have 3 months left as your Department Commander and at this point, I'm asking for everyone to push membership and voter voice if you do nothing else.

Why? Membership is the lifeblood of the organization and amongst the biggest thing we do, again as an organization is advocate for solid policies and legislation, so that's why.

Weekly Schedule

March 25th: Appalachia Veterans Fair at Bristol Motor Speedway

March 28th: East Tennessee Oratorical Contest

Membership

We're currently at 88.88% and are well away from our next goal of 95%, but we still haven't met the 90% goal. Every week, I urge, prod, and conjole everyone I could. Please, I need everyone to push membership, it's the lifeblood of our organization.

Voter Voice

Folks, I do my part every single day, how about you? We finished the week in 3rd place, keep pushing.

Be The One Mid-South Roundup

Now that the Legion Family Day on the Hill is behind us, the next big event is our awesome Be The One Mid=-South Roundup. Our Riders have done a fantastic job thus far, but we need everyone who can attend or volunteer to do so. I plan to be there every day, except I'll need to leave one day to attend a high school graduation.
