Folks, we're moving along as an organization, pulling ourselves into the 21st century little by little. After all, embracing change while recognizing where we've come from is what makes our nation great and what should make our American Legion great. In other words, we should certainly remember and honor our past, maintain worthy traditions, but move into the present when it comes to doing business. The old school ways are failing us, just look at any Post that's had trouble as a result of having a canteen closely related to the actual Post. In other words, doing business the way it was done in the 1960s & '70s, expecting to never have to account for the finances or how the books are kept etc.

That's why, this week's shoutout goes out to those Posts who properly operate a canteen.

Weekly Schedule

Membership

We ended the week at 86.09%, with our next memberhip goal being a couple of weeks away, where we need to be at 90%. While I'm confident we'll make our next goal, I'm worried we'll not have enough momentum to make the next goal and so on. What I'm begging from all of you is to dig in, reach down and begin to push membership. After all, this is how we keep the doors open, this is how we continue to exist as a worthy and needed organization.

Voter Voice

I'm not sure where we finshed the week, but keep sending you Voter Voice every 24-hours, I know I will.
