This week's first shoutout goes to those who continue to do the right things on behalf of the Legion Family. I'm asking everyone this week to buckle down when it comes to membership and voter voice, as well as look to support the Be The One Mid-South Roundup.
The second shoutout goes to the Legislative Legionnaire of the Week Justin Cofer. Thank you Justin for all you do, keep up the great work. I hope this inspires other members of the Legislative Committee and Legion Family to increase your/our advocacy efforts.

But wait, there's more, give my Tennessee Boys State promotion video a watch, it's a take on Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. Speaking of Boys State (www.tnboysstate.org), let's get every spot filled ASAP, if not, it's more money out of the departments coffers. Speaking of department finances, I regularly hear people complain that department needs to pay for this or pay for that, but with diminishing membership, comes a diminishing bank account.
With election season underway, the Chaplain's message this week is just what's needed, thank you Chaplain Shoney.
Weekly Schedule
My visit to West Tennessee might be altered depending on when I need to leave to make it to Washington, DC. Regardless, here are the remarks I intend to give at every District Convention.
April 23rd: 8th District Convention
April 24th: 9th District Convention
April 25th: 10th District Convention
April 27th-28th: Washington, DC (Meeting w/ Senator Hagerty)
Membership
We're now at the 91% mark, but we're slipping in the membership category, which needs to change, after all there's "strength in numbers.," meaning with more members the more we can do, the more legislation we can advocate for, which means we'll see more legislation passed and signed into law.
Remember, membership is the lifeblood of our organization.
Voter Voice
Thank you to everyone who has their voices heard every 24 hours. With your help, we finished the week in 2nd place again, thank you.

Be The One Mid-South Roundup
The Be The One Mid-South Roundup a GO, but we need way more participants and volunteers to show up and assist. This could be a premier event every year that people from all over pilgrimage to, but not if we don't step up now. This event will be canceled in a couple of weeks if this doesn't change.
